That is the Beauty of the ritualist, they can fill many roles, the most useful role is what the team needs

Usually a Restoration Ritualist is most wanted

My favorite question

Do even a small bit of reading and research. There are a couple types of Rits that are very popular and are good choices. As Tainek said though, most wanted it Resto.

Rt/Me - good for money
Rt/Mo - good for finding parties in PvE (they think I am a healer )
Rt (spirit spammer) - good for GvG

we should start a thread about the many creative ways to troll for builds without searching and still seem like we're not trolling for builds without searching

Restoration Rit in PvE just because monks are hard to find so you have little trouble finding a party. Although IMO the Attuned Healer is tops is better in healing capability.

For GvG, a spirit build with Shelter, other spirits (Union, etc.) and Rit Lord or Soul Twisting. Keeps dmg down on whole team.

Best thing to do is to watch the PvP battles and also see what Rit build ppl are spamming when LFG in PvE. We're not gonna do all the work for ya, y'know

As a Shleter/Union healer thing i seem to be getting into FoW easily, I had a monk say today that I pretty much pwned over a Bonder Monk and that although I was the first Rit he played with, it certainly seemd to be a class to watch out for as far as support class goes.

ive been playing a mix build primarily...

i like holding items and using pain as a long lasting spirit spell to support the bonuses from some channeling and restoration skills

most of the time in player groups i do just fine as being a support healer and spiker on the softies... after playing an asn i still think the rit can kill faster with only 3 chan spells...

other than that i do have equipement for a prot/healer build

using shelter/union/displacement and mighty was along with of corse flesh of my flesh and 3 healing spells I havent worked wtih the area healing spells yet and i have become quite reliant on use of mightywas untill i find a decent weapon combination for high energy to swap with...

my current build is to survive because IMO a ritualist has no match when it comes to back to back ressing and getting dead party members up and back into the fight... usually use flesh of my flesh soothing memories weapon of warding...

this is the build ive grown comfortable using...

I do however want to get the equipment around to do some pure classing with the rit... especially trying a pure spirit build...

I'm using a spirit spammer in PvE, I love it because I can take my time and have not yet died, as you can prepare for fights and take out virtually anything. Just wondering for thoughts on whether Rt/Mo with healing prayers or Rt/ with restoration magic would be better for this?

i like the restoration spells for healing because you get some different benefits if you have spirits up and if you are holding items...

having a 2 energy 95 health heal at 12 rest is awsome... also a healing spells with condition remover if you have a spirit up is great... i like spam healing and removing conditions myself without the use of 2 seperate spells...

i chose a long lasting and cheap spirit (pain) as the main spirit so i dont have downtime between the bene's unless pain dies of corse... but i always cast mine at the backline to keep it from taking agro to much

ultimately though i like seeing the opinions of others in one thread because im not sure the build im playing is optimal for my play style or not... im doing well with him i did get the first rank of survivor from this build but i always wonder if id play a different build better...
